Now that the Kansas Legislature has reorganized and renumbered Kansas family laws, it’s time to think about what changes, if any, should be made to Kansas family law to improve it for the twenty-first century and beyond. What changes to Kansas family law do you think should be made? What new statutes are needed? How should current Kansas statutes be modified? What modifications should be made in current statutes to make them better, more understandable, more effective? What additional procedures should be considered for temporary orders; for ex parte orders; for family law discovery; for family law hearings and trials; and for post-decree filings, hearings, and procedures?
