Family Law Trial and Appellate Practice, emphasizing client representation in family law matters, including divorce, parentage, child support, and non-marital property division.

Attorney II – Staff Attorney for Child Support Enforcement (January 2005 – July 2012) – Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services, Manhattan, Kansas Office –

Provide professional legal work for the Child Support Enforcement program, including conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, providing legal advice to program staff, and handling litigation in courts. Prosecute indirect civil contempt actions representing the Secretary of SRS, prepare for and litigate modifications of child support orders in court, and establish child support and paternity orders in court. Manage a large caseload and train and supervise a legal administrative assistant. Exercise professional independent judgment in management of caseload in terms of agency and program policies with minimal supervisory involvement.
